Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

• •You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• •You must provide accurate and current information when registering and using the Service.
• •You may not share, sell, or transfer your account without our consent.
• •Notify us promptly at hello@cvblend.ai if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You agree not to:

• •Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• •Upload content you do not have the right to use, including another person’s CV without their consent.
• •Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service or its infrastructure.
• •Misuse AI outputs to deceive employers, fabricate qualifications, or misrepresent credentials.
• •Scrape, harvest, or resell data from the Service without permission.

The Service uses AI to generate CV optimisations, cover letters, match scores, interview prep, and other outputs. These outputs are advisory and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before sharing it with employers or third parties. We do not guarantee that AI outputs will result in interviews, offers, or employment.

• •Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly) until cancelled.
• •Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are not stored on our servers.
• •You can cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise.
• •Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started.
• •We may change pricing with reasonable notice; existing subscriptions are honoured at their current rate until renewal.

If we offer a free trial or promotional discount, any unused portion expires at the end of the trial or promotional period. Abuse of promotional offers may result in suspension of your account.

You retain ownership of the CVs, job data, and other content you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading it, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Service. We do not use Your Content to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent, as described in our Privacy Policy.

All software, designs, templates, text, and branding on the Service are owned by CVBlend or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our content without permission.

The Service may integrate with third-party tools (e.g., LinkedIn, payment processors, AI providers). Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services. We are not responsible for their conduct or availability.

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Maintenance, updates, and outages may occur.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVBlend and its suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold CVBlend harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party rights.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, pose a risk to the Service, or as required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, though certain provisions (including liability and ownership) survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in-product or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
